A simple game I made based on the popular 1962 "SpaceWar!" I made it to refine my skills in game development as a whole and with Godot in particular.

The controls are pretty simple: press space to accelerate in the direction of the mouse, press the left mouse button to fire a torpedo. Shoot down enemies and collect energy to survive for longer. If you run out of energy your controls will be locked.

I had a couple of other ideas which didn't get to fully implement, however the files for them do exist so they may come back in the future! A few more new additions are planned, namely: multiple levels; multiple enemy types; a small lore screen; and different death screens depending on how you died. The system is pretty robust so I don't believe it would take longer than a day to implement each of these features respectively.
